Month in Poland – a thorough research on history and heritage of Central and Eastern Europe
“Month in Poland” is a research program for scholars from Eastern Europe, including Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, and Russia. The main goal of this poland scholarship is to enable them to stay in Poland for one month, where they can carry out research projects on the history, politics, culture, and heritage of Central and Eastern European nations. The programme supports researchers with a documented scientific record, as well as doctoral students with research experience who are looking for optimal working conditions.
The scholarship, valued at 6500 PLN, provides support for the implementation of scientific projects, which may include archival and library research, interviews, fieldwork, and source analysis. The “Research in Ukraine” scholarship is a programme created to support Ukrainian scholars who continue their work in Ukraine despite ongoing military actions from Russia. The programme is open to Ukrainian citizens and supports research projects in the fields of history, culture, and politics of Eastern Europe, with a particular focus on Polish-Ukrainian relations. Its aim is to strengthen Ukrainian academic institutions within the international community and deepen knowledge about the region. The financial support is 12 000 PLN and is paid in four monthly installments.
